Check out the new Courage to Act Knowledge Centre, a repository of resources, policies, procedures and protocols created through the Courage to Act project in collaboration with over 150 leading experts and advocates across Canada!
Launched today, the Knowledge Centre is home to a number of ground-breaking tools created by our network of national experts to support gender-based violence (GBV) intervention and prevention efforts at Canadian post-secondary institutions (PSIs). Developed over two years, the tools and toolkits available on the Knowledge Centre will revolutionize existing response and prevention and offer a roadmap to advocates, frontline workers, staff, faculty, and students for how to address and prevent GBV on their campus.
The Knowledge Centre includes:
Ready-to-download tools developed by the Courage to Act team and our ten Communities of Practice;
Information for administrators, faculty, frontline workers, educators, and student leaders on how to register to pilot tools and toolkits;
Information on additional trail-blazing tools and resources that will be released over the next two years;
An invitation to take the pledge - the #IHaveTheCourageToAct commitment - and be part of a national network of individuals working to end gender-based violence on campus, with access to opportunities for skill-sharing and knowledge-building with colleagues across Canada.
All resources offered through the Knowledge Centre are publicly available and free to download.
